Mid-Knight In Shining Armour

Mid-Knight in shining armour....My Hubby that is. Hunter is usually a champ at sleeping through the night. Since about 6 mos old he goes to bed around 8 and gets up around 7:30 with no peeps in between. Occasionally however, he will wake himself up for whatever reason. We try to let him cry it out to see if he'll go back to sleep or not. Often he does..other times he gets so worked up and can't calm himself back down despite being half asleep as it is. So mama goes in to work her magic. If my tender loving touch doesn't cut it and my bag of tricks is empty, my noble knight comes in and takes his knight in training on a mid-night ride in the chariot! This always seems to work. I have only ridden along once. Last night they had one of their adventures. I just wanted to take a chance to say how much I appreciate my "mid-knight" in shining armour and doing this chivalrous act of love! MUAH!

Tiger Tiger Woods Y'all

Hunter & I were dressed and ready when daddy came home from work today to take him to the golf course and get a few swings in. I even tried a few myself and was just extatic if I made contact with the ball! haha Another very nice evening and a fun out of the ordinary adventure!

Monday Funday!

Hunter and I had a pool party this afternoon since it was sunny and nice and not pouring down rain. He wasn't so sure about it at first, but it didn't take him long to start splishin' & a splashin'. FUN FUN!

Saturday Sunset

Lately we have been trying to get out of the hum drum of everyday routine by coming up with something out of the ordinary to do...big or small. Saturday evening was very pleasant & we love to be outdoors so we decided to go the Sebring Pier and Rotary Park. It was breezy & sunny and a nice change of pace.

Bok Tower w/Lil Sis

Friday Hunter and I spent the day at Bok Tower in Lake Wales with my "little sister" (Big Brothers Big Sisters). She had never been and it has been one of my favorite places to go since I was a little girl. Wasn't too awful hot and mostly shady anyway. She really liked when the squirrels came right up to you in hopes of a treat. We walked around the peaceful gardens then enjoyed a picnic at the top of the hill ("Iron Mountain") by the tower. It was breezy and relaxing. We ate our lunch to the chimes of the old bell tower and the "old timers" singing away to the tunes, which she thought was really funny. Hunter had fun crawling around the blanket and kept trying to snatch the bag of Cheetos. He never gave up and eventually got hold when she and I were talking and Cheetos went everywhere! What a special day to spend together with time to talk about life and enjoy God's beautiful creation. Great place to go if you have never been. Afterwards, we had ice cream at the new McDonald's and jammed out in the car while heading home. Another great time together!

Beach Babes!

Hunter & Elli had their first beach trip. It was a BEAUTIFUL day, perfect! We went to Anna Maria Island. Ellie liked her mommy swishing her in the water. Hunter was happy playing with his shovel on the blanket. Us mommies had fun taking our pictures and loved all the comments from passer-bys. We ended the day at the outlet mall for a shopping spree. A lot of work getting these kiddos loaded and unloaded but well worth it for such a pretty day! Thank you Jesus for Florida sunshine, cool breezes, and beautiful beaches!
